A professional is a leading expert in a particular field or profession, such as an accountant, doctor, handyman, gardner, computer specialist - all are established experts in their field and have a profile on Pocket a Professional and are available to provide help answer your questions and provide access to services.
Anyone with experience in a specific field can become a professional on Pocket a Professional.
Yes, professionals are vetted when they first create an account on the platform. At minimum, professionals are vetted to 1) prove they are who they say they are, 2) have experience in a particular field (e.g. work experience, degree, etc), 3) if applicable, have a registered business.
There are two ways to contact a professional. The first is to purchase a base subscription to Pocket a Professional. This allows you to ask questions to participating professionals. The second option is to subscribe directly to a professional, which gives you expanded access to ask that particular professional questions, and also access to their curated content.
Yes - base subscribers can ask up to five questions a month and up to two follow-up questions per base question. In the case of the Base Subscription, the question limitation is across multiple professionals (so you can ask one question and two follow up to five individual professionals, or all to one professional). For Professional Subscription, you can ask up to five questions a month and two follow up questions to that individual professional.
First, you would search for a professional’s profile page here. Then you can click the “Ask a Question” button to begin a conversation. This option will only be available for professionals who are accepting questions from base members.
Users can pay with any major credit card (visa, mastercard, american express) or paypal. (we will update based on processor)
Refunds are not permitted for base and monthly subscriptions. Users can seamlessly cancel without any issues prior to the next month’s billing cycle.
Professionals are not required to provide a refund for services that they provide. Each professional can set their own refund policies, as stated on their individual profile page. If you are unable to resolve the issue you may submit a support ticket to Pocket a Professional.
